Course Overview: (Expectations, Gear List, Schedule, etc) An invitation to the online platform will be emailed to you when the course opens. It is self-paced, and you have one week to complete it before the Skills Session. The CANVAS platform opens a week before the in-person Orientation.

Meals:

Not included – town is 10 minutes from our base, with ample restaurants and grocery store options.

Available for student use is a standard refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hot water urn. Most students bring camp stoves to cook within a budget under our outdoor cooking pavilion.

Lodging: $15 Camping or Bunkhouse, for the night prior to your Skills Session date.

Camping (bring your own gear) or bunk space (bring your sleeping bag and pillow) is available by reservation for. Camping is on a pad near the parking lot and classroom. Bunkhouse residents may be assigned up to three roommates. The bunkhouses are located a 10-minute walk up the mountain. You may also camp in your vehicle, but there is no hookup or space for RVs. Any overnight stay grants access to the kitchen amenities and indoor showers. 

Students must be packed and moved out prior to 8AM on the Skills Session date.
