This 4-hour workshop meets the standards for layperson training in recognizing and treating life-threatening allergic reactions. Students have the opportunity to practice epi administration with saline and needles. Course completion results in a four-year North Carolina state certificate.
Packing List
Students are advised to wear shorts or pants with side zips during this course, weather dependent. Visualizing the proper injection site and practicing appropriately are the goals with this request.
